LIST OF "GREAT HOUSES" IN AFRICA
NATIONALITIES and CULTURAL COMMUNITIES

NB: Nearly all of the communities below lack descrete differentiation. That means:

[1] Many nationalities below are also members and subgroups of related cultural or social or political communities listed below

[2] Many nationalities are composites of two or more culturally distinct communities

[3] Some culturally integrated groups consist of many communities belonging to more than one nationality

[4] Some nationalities listed below contain communities with descrete political structures and in some cases speaking multiple languages

[5] This is not a comprehensive list. There are thousands of identifiable differentiated communities, nationalities, major lineages, and culturally distinct societies that are not listed below.
